Novotel London Blackfriars
The Novotel London Blackfriars is located on the south side of the River Thames but is still quite central.
They have a couple of different room options for families – a premium queen room with two single sofa beds and a superior room with a queen bed and a double sofa bed.
If these rooms aren’t big enough, they offer 50% off a second room booking for families and kids under 16 can eat breakfast for free. There are kids’ entertainment areas and a welcome gift on arrival for children.
There aren’t really many cheap hotels with swimming pools in London – but the Novotel is probably your most budget family hotel with pool in London.
Pool availability: Kids are allowed to use the pool any time during normal opening hours if accompanied by an adult.

London Marriott Hotel County Hall
London Marriott Hotel County Hall is a family-friendly 5-star hotel in London with a pool situated right next to The London Eye and is a great place to be based to see many of the London attractions (including Shreks’ Adventure and London Dungeon). County Hall is a listed building steeped in history with fabulous views of Big Ben and the River Thames.
They occasionally offer the Very Important Kids package where kids will receive a County Hall teddy and special toiletries.

Town Hall Hotel & Apartments
The Town Hall Hotel is a fabulous hotel (with apartments) located in East London. It is within striking distance of the City of London and is perfect if you’re looking for self-catering accommodation in London for families.
They have a couple of amazing two-bedroom apartments. The one we stayed in was huge which turned out to be perfect for a game of hide and seek!
Their pool area is small but perfectly formed with brass fittings and dark pool tiles giving it a very opulent feel.
Bethnal Green and its surrounding area is full of quirky shops and cafés and the lovely Victoria Park equals any of the more well-known London parks.
Pool availability: The pool is open daily from 6am to 10 pm. No restrictions on kids using the pool.
Nearby attractions: Victoria Park, Brick Lane, Young V&A and Columbia Road Flower Market.

Dolphin House Serviced Apartments
Serviced apartments can be a great option if you are staying in London for longer than a weekend and would like some of the comforts of home rather than staying in one of the London hotels with pools.

Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel
The Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel is an independent hotel located in the Canary Wharf area of London with views of the River Thames and the London skyline.
The standard rooms can only accommodate a family of 3. For larger families, there are interconnecting rooms available or the executive suite and 1 bedroom suite can accommodate extra beds.
The pool is part of the Virgin Active gym and is located on the roof of the hotel with commanding views over London.

The Dilly
The Dilly at Piccadilly (formerly Le Meridien), is one of the most central London hotels with swimming pools.
There are family rooms for 2 adults and 2 children with the option of an extra bed for a third child. Kids under 12 eat free at the Terrace at the Dilly restaurant when dining with an adult.
They have re-opened the very popular Peter Rabbit themed afternoon tea in London for kids if you are looking for a special treat.
With one of the largest indoor swimming pools in central London and dance lessons in their iconic ballroom, there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained.
They also offer ‘Dilly Family Days’ which is a package including bed and breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids, a London travel card worth £60.00 and entrance to one of three London attractions (London Eye, Madame Tussauds or London Dungeon).
This one should definitely be high on your list when looking for family accommodation in London with pools.

One Aldwych
One Aldwych is ideally located if you are heading to London for the theatre – in particular The Lion King which is right opposite!
Standard rooms are available which can accommodate families with the addition of extra beds and cots. There are also suites which will offer more space.
Children are made to feel most welcome with welcome gifts, their own mini bathrobe and slippers.
Children will love the 18-metre, chlorine free pool with underwater music and projections of fish on the walls. If you’re looking for a hotel with fun swimming pool, this is the one!

The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is located right next to Waterloo Station and is a short stroll from the London Eye and all the family-friendly entertainment and eateries of Southbank.

London Hilton Bankside
You can find almost any type of room configuration at the London Hilton Bankside – but the suites or interconnecting rooms will be the best options for families.
Children can enjoy a special Kids’ Welcome experience, kid’s breakfast and special child-friendly amenities throughout the hotel on request.
Unlike many of the other hotels with swimming pool in London, this one doesn’t set time limits on when you can visit with the kids.
Pool availability: there are no time restrictions but kids must be accompanied by an adult.

The Langham
The Langham is a super luxury hotel in central London and one of our favourite family hotels with pools in London, just a short walk from Oxford Circus.
They have a fantastic range of suites for families if you are looking to push the boat out during your family staycation in London.
The Langham runs a children’s programme where they offer a dedicated children’s check in with a welcome hamper, a teddy, slippers and a bathrobe. They also offer kids’ baking lessons and kids’ menus at the restaurants.
Their family rooms offer a Queen bed and a sofa bed accommodating 4. There is also a 50% off a second room booking offer but you would need to book in advance and request an adjoining room because these are not always available.
Pool availability: children can access the pool before 10 am and after 2pm.
Nearby attractions: The British Museum, Oxford Street and Regent’s Park (with London Zoo) are all nearby.
